We had Betse Ellis and Clarke Wyatt from Kansas City MO for fiddle and banjo workshops, myself for a mandolin workshop, and Michigan's finest Seth Bernard for a songwriting workshop. So, on May 22nd we held a daylong set of fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and songwriting workshops at Camp Blodgett, the home of our music camp. This was our way to let folks know that we're still around. We hadn't held our Great Lakes Music Camp ( ) in two years due to covid, and wanted to stay relevant. We did this thing, Jason Wheeler, Becca Ling, and I, with help from a MI Arts and Culture Council Grant administered by our friend Lorain Smalligan, the Executive Director at Lowell Arts.
